MARY'S MILITIA
A public showing of our Catholic Faith by taking our Rosary, the sword, to the public streets.
On July 16, 1251. Our blessed mother gave St. Simon Stock the brown scapular which she told him was the shield and to wear it in protection and those who wore it would never suffer the fires of hell.
In 1214 Our Lady appeared to St. Dominic and gave him the rosary calling it our sword. She told Dominic “I want you to know that, in this kind of warfare, the battering ram has always been the Angelic Psalter* which is the foundation stone of the New Testament. Therefore if you want to reach these hardened souls and win them over to God, preach my Psalter.”
